THE WEATHER.
6ISBORNE TIMES OFFICE.
The following axe the readings of the Barometer in our office, taken at 8 B.m. each day:—
A squall area passed in the south last night, the winds changing to southerly over the South Island. Squally conditions have been experienced in parts, especially in the south. The weather has been unsettled generally with scattered showers. Present indications are for changeable weather, cloudy and misty at times, with showers and electrical disturbances in parts. The barometer has a rising tendency and moderate to strong southerly winds are probable but decreasing barometric pressure is likely to follow again soon and the winds, change to northerly and westerly and increase in force.
