BRIDEGROOM KIDNAPPED.
A DEFERRED HONEYMOON
The joys of the honeymoon for Mr and Mrs Bernard Cunningham, who were married the other day in Orange, New Jersey, were deferred for a few hours because friends of the bridegroom displayed their well wishes by. kidnapping him and keeping him a prisoner till 2 o’clock next morning. Mrs Cunningham was Miss Mary Brennan. After the ceremony there was a reception at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs Mary A. Tansey, at lOb Alden Street, Orange. The friends called during the reception, lured Mr Cunningham out of doors, and whisked him to his now homo at 4 Main Street, where, bound and gagged, he was perniitted to watch his friends create disorder out of neatness. Such is _ the story Cunningham told his bride, and no one ha§ been found to deny it.
