HORSE STEALING.
FURTHER CASE FOR SUPREAIE COURT. From information lie received yesterday, Sergt. Hutton informed a “Gisborne Times” reporter that Frederick "Watson was committed to the Sunrome Court for sentence at TokomnVu Bay on Sontember 10, before Messrs AV. Oates and H. C. Dawson, J’s.P. The charge, to which prisoner pleaded guilty, was that, on September 3. at To Puift, he did steal a horse,
saddle and bridle, valued at. £9 10s, the property of Pencha Tabu. The facts" are that Watson obtained the horse and sold it, afterwards getting on board the boat and going to Auckland. He was arrested at Auckland and sent hack to Tokomaru last Sunday. The remand to Tokomaru was for the 14th, hut on account of next week’s Supreme Court sittings, ho was brought up and dealt with.
