Mr Roosevelt claims that as a result of the Maine victory for the Progressives, the new Governor is_ really an adherent of the Roosevelt party, and that understanding led Mr Roosevelt not to contest the elections against the Regular Republicans, who also claimed the Governor as an adherent.
