In the Assembly, the report of the Royal Commission regarding Mr Griffiths’ administration was tabled. In effect it says that though Mr Henley’s charges of dishonesty and corruption against Mr Griffith, neither Mr Henley nor Mr Parkes is prepared to’bring evidence supporting any such charge, and further, since there is no evidence at all to support such, charges, the Commissioner has no option but to report accordingly.
