GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Present indications arc for westerly winds, strong to a gale, veering to southerly. The barometer is very unsteady, but is due to rise everywhere soon. Cloudy and unsettled weather with rain is probable generally. Snow may bo expected on the higher levels in the south and a short spell of colder weather generally.
