Navua, North, August 14. NOTES. 'l'lie small steamer Fanny sailed for Napier at noon on Saturday. The Huddart Parker steamer Wimmera, on her northern trip, called at Gisborne on Saturday. Messrs Richardson and Co’s steamer Koutunui arrived from the north on Saturday night, and should be able to leave on the return voyage to-day. The Union Go’s steamer Mokoia left Auckland at 4.15 n.m. on Saturday, called at Tokomaru on the way down, experienced a southerly roll on the coast and arrived here at 5.45 p.ru. yesterday, leaving for the south early this morning. The Union Go’s steamer Kowhai left Dunedin on Saturday for Oamaru, Tim-
aru, Lyttelton, Napier and Gisborne, and is* due here towards the end of the week. She proceeds to Westport from Gisborne. " ' The Union Co’s steamer Squall arrived ni Auckland on" Saturday afternoon, and leaves to-day on the return trip. The Union Co’s steamer Haupiri is expected to complete the coast to-day and proceeds to Auckland via lamest one Island. The Union Co’s tug Terawliiti left last evening for Wellington direct.
