A committee with' Professor Biles as chairman, has Been appointed to advise the Board of Trade as to the most efficient arrangements for stowing boats for the launching in emergency and to what extent mechanical propulsion should Kiipplimerit or supersede oars and sails. The committee will also report on what extent rafts of approved character and utiiitable and any other recommendations concerning life at sea.
