SYDNEY, Aug. 1. At an inquest on the murdered man. Hoey, wherefor a hallAaste Cingalese, Theogo.se, was arrested, the arresting constable deposed that Theogose told him that ho and Hoev were in a tent. Two men visited them ear hr in the morning. They shot Hoey in bed and took bis money, £2 Is, ami a cheque for £2. They threatened Theogose if lie told the police.
Cartridges found on Theogose fitted the rifle wherewith the shooting was done.
The inquest is unfinished
