A SCOW ASHORE.

- ENDEAVORS TO REFLOAT HER. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, May 7. The scow Ngani, belonging to the Maoriland Navigation Company, went ashore when leaving Kawhia to-day. An attempt to refloat her was not successful, and another attempt will be made to-morrow. The weather is calm with a moderate sea running, but the neap tides make the work of refloating her difficult.
