ENTERTAINMENTS.

PATHE PICTURES. There are many appealing features in the new programme of pictures to be screened at His Majesty’s Theatre to-night, together with the Coronation picture. Foremost on account of the great lesson it teaches, “The AVedding Bell,” is a novel story of the danger from goods made in “sweatshops.” It gives a clear and poignant presentation of the shocking conditions that a.re countenanced in civilised communities and (brings into hold relief the heartrendering episodes connected with the curse of “sweating.” “A Sin Unpardonable” is a drama abounding in exciting incidents and having a great moral force. Repulsive as it may seem the film depicting the snail industry is of exceptional value as an educational study. “The Double Elopement’’ is a prettily-contrived comedy in which the match-making experiments of two fathers are given a rude shock, and the young people both follow the dictates of their hearts and marry other than the mates chosen for them. “The Pathe Gazette” includes a wealth of matter of interest to everyone, and other items _of the programme are “Arab’s Rejoicings,” “A Groat Secret,” “All Through a Rat,” “T'ontolini Travelling in Glue,” ana “IFoolshead at Lunch.”
