DOMAIN BOARDS.

ANNUAL MEETINGS. The annual meetings of both the Makaraka and Gisborne Domain Boards were hold in the Borough Council Chambers last night. AIAIvARAKA DOMAIN. Tlio annual report and balancesheet were presented, and on the motion of the Mayor were adopted. The report showed that all necessary repair work had been done, and some improvements effected. Tlic balancesheet showed the assets to he £l9O 12s 2d and tlio liabilities nil. The Mayor said that the. position was very satisfactory, but he thought that some portion of the money in hand should bo spent in effecting additional improvements to the Domain. On the motion of the Mayor, Messrs Somervell, Sawyer, Pettie. and the mover were appointed a committee to report on the question of establishing a small jetty in the river adjoining the Domain, and the planting of trees with a view to providing shelter for. picnic purposes. GISBORNE DOMAIN.' The annual report and A balancesheet of the Gisborne Domain Board were also read and adopted. The only work carried out at the Victoria Domain was maintenance work, and the assets and liabilities were both nil.
