Archdeacon Abbott, of Taimvortli, in sending his resignation to the Bishop of the diocese, pointed out that- in 5 years lie had received £1952 from-his parish, and had expended on its work £1750. He had been utinblo to save any of tho money, out of which he replaced necessary things, and after five years’ wear and tear he was almost worn out.
