ROTORUA CARNIVAL.

ODDFELLOWS’ SPORTS AND BABY SHOW. Press Association. ROTORUA, Feb. 26. There was a good attendance at the Carnival grounds to-day, at the Oddfellows’ sports. Forty pounds were distributed in prize money. . Great interest was taken in the baby show, and the prizes were silver cups. A Maori child named Iliaraira won a cup, and a European child named Nankervis also won a cup. Both cups were presented _by Mr. Mcßride, of Auckland. . . For the athletic events competition was good, and the winners of the Rotorua Cup wero Messrs Morse, Judd, and Rogers. Fine weather prevailed, and the town band was in attendance. Visitors continue to flow into the town.
