SHELL-FISH EXPOSED TO THE SUN. Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb 25. A few days ago two young ladies (one being a resident of Paeroa) who were camping. at Tapu were taken violently ill, and alarming symptoms sotting in, medical aid was summoned from Thames. The resident surgeon,’ on arriving about two o’clock on Friday morning, found the cause of illness was poisoning through eating shell fish which had been lodged on the top of some rocks, and had been exposed to the sun. As the result of his efforts both young ladies are now better, though for a little time their condition caused a good deal of anxiety.
