The Rev. F. G. Long, ALA., is expected from South to-morrow morning. Ho proceeds to AA’aipiro Bay .shortly to take up liis now duties. Mr AY. E. Bell, a Triulo Union representative from Christchurch, is at present visiting Gisborne. He leaves for Napier to-morrow evening. ’ Air A. Betluino, Government Auditor, is at present on a visit of inspection to Gisborne. Air A. Williamson's friends will bo pleased to learn that lie underwent a successful operation yesterday. Air. J. B. Gow, chairman of tho Opotiki County Council, and a candidate for Parliament in the Opposition interest, is at present on a visit io Gisborne.
