Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Feb. 19. Tlie Arbitration Court was engaged to-dav in hearing the compensation claim', Louisi Winifred Burtenshaw and Walter Rouse against tlie N.Z. L. and 31. Comnany. Appellants claimed £4OO on behalf of themselves and other dependents of ' ‘Walter Rouse, deceased, who died on January 27til, as the result of injuries sustained by being struck by la bale of cornsacks in respondent’s, store at Bluff. The defence raised the question -whether deceased was only a casual hand in the store; also the question of rights of defendants. The case will be mentioned again on Friday.
