QUEEN ENA.
The King and Queen of Spain seem to have .enjoyed themselves immensely during their recent visit to England, and tho King, though ho is never able to be punctual at an appointment, had a most strenuous time after pheasants. Tho Queen, whose craze for dress is amazing, must have spent thousands of pounds upon finery and jewels. The resources of London were not sufficient for her in this direction, and famous jewollers from Paris, Berlin, and even St. Petersburg, to say nothing of costumiers, laid their choicest wares before her at Buckingtam Palace. Queen Ena’s clothes are the envy and despair of the greatest anil most extravagant dressers among her sex. Her lurs alone must bo enormously valuable, as it is said that she has threo of the finest suits of sables obtainable. As to her jewels, they fairly staggered even those who had been accustomed to the barbaric display of jewels in which American multi-millionairesses revel.
