United Press Association—Copyright (Received Feb. 18, 9.38 p.m.) CALCUTTA, Feb. IS. The Zakkas are chietly armed with Martinis, but are suffering from n scarcity of ammunition. The tribes,men avoid engagements, but harass pickets and convoys. The sphere of operations covers an area of 20 by 10 jniles, in the western corner of the .Bazar Valley. The ground is of a difficult nature for military operations. Other Afridis tribesmen showno desire to^participate. Major-General AVillcocks command 2008 British and 5622 Native troops.
