Protests to he lodged with the Secretary in writing, within 15 minutes after the disputed event, accompanied with a deposit ol £2, such deposit to he forfeited if the protest be not sustained. 4. No nomination or acceptance will be entertained unless accompanied by necessary fees. 5. NOMINATIONS for 1,3, 5, and 6 Close on 22nd FEBRUARY, at Tuparoa Hotel at 8 P.m., and ACCEPTANCES for Same and NOMINATIONS for 2 and 4 close on the WEDNESDAY before tlio races, viz., 18th MARCH, at Tuparoa Hotel, at 8 p.m. 6.
