Tho Dublin Jewels Commission has (issued a Blue Book showing that at the suggestion of an Italian clairvoyant Sir A. Vicars fruitlessly searched tho churchyards at Alulliudart and Clondilla, Imping to Finn tho regalia concealed under the tombstones. The bluo book shows that Sir A. Vicars told Detective Kane that ho suspected Mr. Shackle ton, of tho Dublin ’’Herald/’ implying that lie, while a guest at his house, took impressions of the keys while Sir A. Vicars was in +ho bath. Kano considers that- there is no case against Mr. Shackleton, and the Commission completely exonerate;, him. Air. Shackleton testified that lie could easily have taken the key while Sir A. Vicars was in the bathroom, and also gave numerous reasons showing that the precautions taken wero quite insufficient to protect the jewels. Air. Shackleton is a brother of the commander of the Antarctic expedition.
