Afacartliur, providing for the- appointment of a commission to deal with the ecclesiastical disorders was talked out. Air. Johan Talbot emphasised the •statement that since the Royal Commissioner was appointed certain practices had been dropped in many places at the instance of Bishop AValsli. He declared .with regard to Afr. Afasterman’s amendment in favor of disestablishment that this was not within half a century of practical politics.
