Dunedin. “Dear Sirs,— -Last season I carried out a sheep-dipping experiment on the 101 l owing lines—viz.: I dipped one-half my flock in a. well-known sheep-dipping specific—the preparation 1 had been in the habit- of using regularly; the other half I dipped in Quibell’s Patent Powder Dip. At t he wool sales held in Dunedin on tho 23rd iust., the. clip from my Quibelldipped sheep made from Id id lid more per lb than did the wool from tlie sheep clipped in the preparation I had previously been in tlie habit of using on my whole flock. ‘The sheep were all dipped under precisely similar weather conditions, and grazed on the same land throughout the season. “Yours faithfully, “ALEX.
