United Press Association—Copyright NEAV YORK, Oct. 25. Forty million sterling has been withdrawn from the Now York banks during tho past fortnight. ROME, Oct. 25. An oartliquako killed 200 persons at Ferruzana, near Monto Leone, and injured many. Cathedrals at Geraco containing valuablo works of art collapsed, and other cathedrals partially collapsed with many fatalities'. The total numbor of'injured is 400. Torrential rains aggravate the situation. ADELAIDE, Oct. 25. A serious railway collision occurred at Port Pirie station, when a train with two engines attached ran into a stationary goods train. Carne, the driver of the latter, was thrown out and badly injured. Crigliton, the guard of tlio passenger train, had two ribs broken; Several others were slightly injured.
