TO.DAY’S LAND SALE. To-day’s land sale by Messrs Williams and Kettle, in conjunction with Mr. W. Lissant Clayton, is of an important character, in view of the valuable and varied properties comprised in the list. Some charming river frontages—of which only a few are to be had now—are included in the residential sites to be sold on account of Mr. Malcolm McLeod. This land, in the Elim township, is retired and yet handy to school and post office. Reserves are reasonable, and good terms offered. Mangapapa sections also figure in Mr. McGliskie’s name. A great recommendation is that other similar sections increased nearly 100 per cent in value since a former sale. An ideal residence at Mangapapa is for sale. It is exceptionally nicely situated, with four acres of ground, and should admirably suit anyone wishing to live out Of, yet close to, town in a good healthy locality on a main road. Mr. J. T. Griffin is offering some Mangapapa property, in lots of 10 or more acres to suit purchasers. It is suited for cutting up, and should Ije a good opportunity for investors. On account of Mr. Walsh eight acres of splendid building sites in the same suburb, and situated on the ’bus route, is offered. Perhaps to business people main interest attaches to the sale of Mr. Redstone’s section having a frontage of 60ft to Read’s Ouay and 122 ft Bin to Lowe street. This is one of the few remaining chances to secure corner sections in the heart of the town, and there are indications that local and outside buyers will compete. Altogether the list to ho submitted to auction is one of exceptional importance. The sale will be held in the Lowo street Mart at noon.
