VISIT FROM A LABOR LEADER.
BEN TILLETT ARRIVES IN AUCKLAND. Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 27. By the steamer Nairnshire there arrived to-day Mr Ben Tillett, the prominent English Labor leader, and one of the chief organisers of the great association of dock laborers in the Old Country. Mr. Tillett, who visited New Zealand about ten years ago, has come out to the Dominion again for the benefit of liis health, and incidentally to inquire into tho social condition of our people. He adressed a meeting of wharf laborers this afternoon. He intends visiting Wellington and some of the other centres, leaving the Dominion on liis way to Australia in about a month or six weeks.
