Victoria, Auckland, Oct. 5, The Union Coy’s s.s. Waikaro arrises from South this morning and proceeds to Auckland. The Tuatea leaves the wharf at 6 a.in. and 10 a.m. Tho following have booked passages; Misses Carl, Barker (3), Marshall, Turutura, JohnSton; Mesdames Bather, Marshall, Stanlako and infant. Seal and 2 children. \\ . Spragg, Poole; Messrs M. Lewis, Clouston, Hood, Riach, S. Frauklan, T Young, Feanloy, T. Jackson, Rev. Hamilton, and Master Riach. The Union Coy’s s.s. Talune arrives from Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and proceeds South in the evening. The Union Coy’s s.s. Squall arrived from Auckland at 0 o’clockyesterday morning with a general cargo of 340 tons. She left for Napier last evening at 9 o’clock. The Union Co.’s s.s. Koonya has been delayed at Westport owing to tho bar being unworkable, but is expected to leave there to-day for Napier and Gisborne with coal. Tlio Union Coy’s s.s. AVanaka is expected to arrive here to-morrow from Timaru via Picton and Napier. T'i- New Zealand Shipping Coy’s R.M.S. Papanui arrived at Monte Video on the 24th inst. from Now Zealand. The Union Coy’s s.s. Haupiri left Auckland on AVednesday evening for Gisborne, -,via East Coast ports. The auxiliary schooner Ivereru left Tairua yesterday with a full cargo of timber for Mesrs Evans Neild, and Coy.
