Tho annual meeting of tho Union O.C. was held last evening, Mr. J. Lang in tho chair. Tho report and balance-sheet was read and confirmed. I lie finances of the club proved to bo in a satisfactory condition, there „'? in A 'Y balance in hand o'f £3 ss. Ibe following officers - were elected': I resident, Mr. Ed. Murphv ; vicepresidents, Messrs R. N. Jones, C. M Maunsell, A. W/Roes, Geo. Priestly, J. 1. Evans. C. W. Ferris. R. Robertson. R. Johnston, W. Pettie, W. Miller ;-captain/ J. Lang; vice-captain, R. Grant; secretary and treasurer, G. Tattersall; delegates to Associa- j lion, J. Lang, R. Emanuel. M. O’Halloran; committee, Messrs J. Lang. T? Emanuel; G. Tattersall. The’sub scription was fixed at 7s 6d. The meeting was strongly in favor of promoting junior cricket this season, and the delegates were instructed to use every effort in furthering this object.
