Press Association. LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. - WELLINGTON, last night. The Council mot at 2.30. Mr. Barr moved for a return showing the number of estates in the colo.iv of unimproved value between £2C,000 and £30,000, and every additional £IO,OOO up to £200,000. The Hastings Recreation Reserves Bill was committed. Progress was reported, and the Council adjourned until 8.30. * The Council passed the Imprest Supplv Bill through all stages without discussion.
HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. In the House a month’s leave of absence was granted to Mr. Rhodes on account of ill-health. Tho Imprest Supply Bill was brought down by Governor’s message. The House adjourned at 5.30 p.m. On the House resuming at 7.30 a 10,,g discussion ensued on tho motion to go into committee on the Imprest Supplv Bill, which provides for £623,000. * The Bill was eventually put through all stages and passed. The House adjourned at 11.59 p.m.
