As the Cricket Association does not moot till Monday next, the ultimatum to players is to exteDd to that time. Melbourne, May 16.
Mojor Wardcll, in an interview, said there was no ehanco of tho Melbourne Club relea-ing players from tboir engagements to the club. It had been definitely decided to briDg out a team, whether the Marylebono Club assisted or not. He believed they would secure the co-opera-tion of McLaren, Jackson, and Lord Dalmeny.
