There should be a large audienoe at His Majesty's Theatre to morrow night when the Rice Dramatio Company produoe one of Dion Boucicault’s best dramas. Beamish MoCoul, an Irish patriot, has been outlawed, and esoapee lo Franoe to evade capture. The rebellion proceeds from bad to worse, and, seeing it is useless to waste life, he returns to his native oountry, to induce the other leaders to stop the rebel-" lion. Jm thb meantime,'Michael Feeney, a traitor to his oountry, has collected some rents for the Government. Beamish stops him and secures the money, and leaves Feeney to continue the journey. Beamish gives the money to the rebels, and also bank notes to Arrah*Na..Pugup, who allows them to Feeney. He lodges a complaint that Arrah Na Poguo has robbed him, and attempts to have her arrested. Shaun, on Irish post-boy, to save her, gives himself up on his wedding morning, and is tried by oourt-martial and sentenced to death- The Ssoretary of Slate is appea’ed to for a pardon. Shaun, who is quite the leading charaoter of the piece, in the meaot'me makes a desperate attempt to escape, and sucoeeds. Feouey, seeing him climbing a chff, hurls a stooo at him, but Arrah Na Poguo interposes, and in the struggle which takes place she deflects the oourso of the stone. Shaun escapes injury, climbs the oiiff, and hurls Feeney into eternity. A pardon arrives, and Shaun has his freedom.
