• That for the purpose of providing the interest and other chargor on a Loan of £B2OO, or saoh lesser sum B 3 may be actually r?quired, authorised to be raised by the Gisborne Bo’ough Counoil under the ‘Local Bodies Loans Act, 3031,' for repaying loan from Bank of New Zealand Oilieero’ Guarantee and Provident Assooiatton, the said Gisborne Bororgh Counoil hereby makes and lovie3 a Bpecial Bate of Ono Penny and Halfpenny (ljd) in the Pound upon the rateable value ot all rateible property of the Borough of Gisborne, comprising all that land d< fined in the New Zealand Gazette of 14th May, 1817, page 526, and that such Special Bate shall be an annual rate during the currency of Buch loan, and be payable half-yearly on the EOlh June and the 31st Deoember in eaoh and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid rff;" and colice is also given, that the said Resolution will be submitted to an ordinary meeting of the said Council, to be held at the Counoil Chambers, Lowe street, Gißborne, on the sth June, 19C0,, at 7 30 p.m., for confirmation as a Spsoial Order.
