THE FIGHT CONTINUES,
By, telegraph, Press Ass’n, Copyright Melbourne, May 10. The Cricket Association have resoinded its previous resolution, which gave tbe Melbourne Club representation on the Board of Control. Mr Adamson wrote, resigning tbe premiership, owing to the trouble which had arisen in connection with the Melbourne Club. His resignation was acoepted with regret. Letters were received from Melbourne, South Melbourne, South Melbourne, and Riohmond Clubs, withdrawing from the Association. Toe withdrawals were accepted,
Brisbane, May 10. The Cricket Association has replied to a oommnnioation from the South Australian Association, stating it hai joined the Board of Control; and was prepared to abide by the existing constitution.

The Executive to-day interviewed Noble, Duff, O'Connor, and Grounds. The last named dented receipt of any communication from the Melbourne Club. The others admitted promising the club to play if required. Noble and Duff refused to withdraw their promise. O’Connor was given till Saturday to consult his friends. Trumpet and Colter are absent with the team iu Queensland. Their case has been held over. The Executive will strongly reoommend the Cric-kit Association at their meeting on Monday to disqualify reoa'oitrants from inter-State and local competition cricket.
