. A meeting of the Provincial Executive if the Poverty Bay Farmers’Union was ield yesterday morning, when there were -resent: Messrs W. K. Chambers (Presilent), A. R, Watson, A. H. Wallis, W. L. 'laytoo, Redpatb, Elliott, and P, T. nway.

The following offioers had been eleoted; Presi Mr W. Hay ; vice-president, Mr M. ampbell; secretary, Mr W Hay ; auditor, B. Taylor; delegate, Mr W. Hay.
•..wRAL TECHNICAL EDUCATION. "Mr W. The High Bohool Board had voted .615 towards the expenses, which Mr H'll informed him would be subsidised by a 1 In amount by the Govornmen'. Ha would be glad if the Executive gave a donation. ‘ After some discussion it was decided to vote £lO towards the olassos. ACCIDENT INSURANCE.

With a view to defining the powsrs and datics of the Provincial Executive, the following reso'ution was unanimously adopted: ‘'That as tbo rules do nnt set forth the powers of the Provincial Executive, the Colonial Executive be asked to give o ruling on that point, especially as to whether the brauohes should act on matters affecting the Union as a whola, Without reference to their Provincial Ex-o~ outive; also, as to whether members of one branch have the power to vote and speak on administrative or Union mattors at another branoh, without being trans* ferred.” FINANCE. Tho Ssoretary reported that the Exooutive bad a oredit ba’aooe at the bank of £65 19s Id, whilst the liabilities amounted 1 tanibout £SO. ANNUAL PICNIC. On tho motion of Mr Clayton, it was deoided to consider the question of bolding an annual pionio. The matter will be 'dieoussed at the coming conference.
