Owing to the congestion of work in the Eleotoral Department it is considered impossible for the Federal elections to be held'before the second woek in December, Adelaide, May 9.
Senator Symon, spoakiDg at Glonelg. said that no amount of sophistry oould purge Deakin’s rank treachery to his friends of a year ago. Djskm had not swallowed Watson ; Watson had swallowed Deak'n ; but the Labor party, finding Daakin a Jon ib, wanted to disgorge him.
