The Westminster Gazette denies that tho Government are pledged to throw open the door to repatriation of Chinese, and adds the proclamation is in the nature of an emergency exit, used if circumstances justify. The Daily Mail’s Johannesburg correspondent etateß that the Commission just concluding its labors recommends deporting of bad Chinese. If gamblors and opium smokers were deported the others would settle down. -
