SALE OF AUSTRALIAN MEAT AFFECTED.

Shopkeepers in Lancashire are cutting American bleached beef in single pounds and retailing it as Australian tinned mutten, thereby practically stopping the sale of iho latter. Mr Coghlan, AgentGeneral for Australia, is asking the Lancashire County Council to interfere. He has written to the lccal popsrs threatening to prosecute the offenders.
