A man nnmod Munday was stuck up on the Toowong road and shot, a bullet passing through the arm into the abdomon. The robbor, hearing assistance coming, decamped. Subsequently, an old man named Wharton was arrested, the arresting constable foiling him as he was drawing a loaded rovolver.
Munday, who is in the hospital in a serious condition, identified Wharton as his assailant.
