OTAGO ANNIVERSARY.

(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, last night. A strong galo, the first strong wind experienced for some months, spoiled the anniversary holiday to a large extent. A oonsider&bln number made their way to Waihola, where the Rowiug Association’s regatta was to be held, but the gale continued all day, and no events were get off. The Early Settlers’ Association held a large gathering in the evening, at which Lord Piuokat was present.
