NEW ZEALAND'S PRESENTATION,

Mr Seddon presents General BadenPowell’s mother, at the General’s request, with the magnificent solid gold salver subcribed for by the public service of New Zealand in recognition of the defence of Mafeking. The Premier eulogised General Baden-Powell, and said he was confident he would preserve law in South Africa. Mrs and Miss Seddon were present.

Mrs Baden-Powell expressed the warmest thanks and admiration of the gift.
