DINNER TO COLONIAL PREMIERS.

At the Tunbridge Wells Farmers’ Club dinner tendered to Colonial Premiers, Sir E. Barton said that the more the Empire’s self-governing units understood one another the less frequent would be the prospects of aiming too high. The conference must ascertain to what extent the opinion of the unit was to be considered and followed on the lines of agreement.
