Woffington, last night. At tho Supremo Court John Wright, charged with stealing £146 at Mastorton, was acquitted. . By the Wostralia, which arrived to-day,
tho Department of Agriculture received a consignment of twenty-five Angora goats from Now South Wales. It is intondod to , place tho goats, after they havo completed their period in quarantine, on sorno woody 1 section at Levin, in order to ascertain tho offect they will havo on the eradication of weedß.
Messrs Leo, Buchanan, and Robertson have been re-elected on the Education Board.
