SLY-GROG SELLING.
THREE MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT (By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, last night. At Xapanui, in the Ciutha district, J. 0 Dowd was convicted to-day of selling grog, and the Magistrate inflicted the maximum penalty oj vlu-v months’ imprisonment, Notice of ,-ij pea! was given. A charge of exposing liqum for sale was dismissed. The police withdrew the r. - inaining charges.
