V/. L. REES AND SONS v. W. G. FOSTER.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, last night.

At tho Supreme Court tho Chief Justice to-day heard the case of W. L. Rees and Sons, of Gisborne, v. W. G. Foster, a suit claiming 41276, being balance of a bill of costs. Tho defendant had filed an amended statement of claim a few months ago, and paid £SO into Court, which, however, the plaintiffs did not accept. The evidence of W. L. Rees and W. G. Foster, taken in person, and the evidence of C. A. DeLautour and A. E. Rees, taken in Gisborne, on commission, was read. His Honor said he was ready to give judgment, but as counsel wished to hand some further items to the Court in the morning the Bench 'postponed "giving tho decision till then.
