The Gisborne Times PUBLISHED EVERY MORNING. GISBORNE, DECEMBER 4, 1901.

FALL IN PRICES. Some consternation has been caused by the advice received that this month there will be a substantial reduction in the price paid by Messrs Nelson Bros, for sheep for freezing. In keeping with tho Home market, it was expected that there would be a fall, but not to tho extent of which advice has been received. The news is most unpleasant to shecpfarmers, and unless an improvement for the better soon takes place tho poorness of prices must materially affect pastoral pursuits in this district.
