It is stated that the Department at "Washington is informed that the Nethern lands are to havo telephonic communication with London and other largo cities of England. A new submarine telephonic cablo "will be laid, connecting Brussels with London. The circuit will be so disposed as to serve, besides London and Brussels, Antwerp, Liege, Birmingham, Manchester, and Liverpool. The American Consul reports that the point of immersion of the Belgium side will bo near Lapanne, and the line will emerge again at Ramsgate, on the English coast.
