The Northern District cricket match was drawn. A rain storm interfered with play. Crapp. on the local side, was not out for 14. The English lost five wickets for 221. Hayward 66. Jessop IS, and Quaife not out 55 were the principal scorers.

In the match the Englishmen versus is of Glen limes, the local team in their first innings scored 141. Rice 87, and Bond 24 were the chief scorers. The Englishmen have lost two wickets for 66 ; Robson 25, Hayward (not out) 28.

In the match New South Wales v. South Australia, New South Wales, in their first innings, scored 438; Noble 55, Gregory 80, Howell 44, O. Gregory IS, Duff 80. Jones took four wickets for 121, and Travers three for 129. In the South Australian first innings, there are six wickets down for 86; Hill 50 and Reedman 14 were the chief scorers.
