ASSURANCE THAT ALL IN THE HOTEL WERE ACCOUNTED FOR.

Wellington, last night. There has been an impression in town that all tho occupants of the Oriental Hotel on the night of the recent lire did not escape, and the authorities have been urged to have a careful search made among tho debris in order to clear away the doubt. The licensee, however, positively accounts for tho sixty-odd people who slept in the house on Sunday night. Two of those who were injured in escaping, D’Arcy and Hill, are still in tho hospital, in a serious condition.
