VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE,
LOCAL COMPETITION
A competition among members of the Gisborne Volunteer Eire Brigado took place yesterday afternoon, and there was some capital work done. The starter was Mr J. R* Little, Messrs J. C. Nisbett and R. T. Seymour being timekeepers, with Messrs J. Brown and Jameson as judges. Superintendent Townley also gave assistance. The following wero tho results: —
