SUPREME COURT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, last night. At the Supreme Court Jas. Hammond was found guilty of indecently assaulting a girl at Roxburgh, and was remanded for sentence. A charge of a similar nature against Jas. Wood was not concluded. DREDGING.
Mr Jas. Howlison has received the appointment of superintendent dredgemaster for the Ashanti Goldfields Corporation, at a salary of some 1:1.300 per annum. The Golden Geaeh dredge ret.»n is 16oz Tdwt. The Champion Company have washed up 220 z fjdwt as a result of the week's elevating.
